Shrouded in mystery,
Long time in history,
There lay a friendship…..
Just like a wrecked ship.
At times it gleams,
At times it beams,
Its aura so magnificent-
And in many ways intransigent.
With time it rocks
And with many a blocks,
Despite its vexed spirit,
Its phlegmatic presence- implicit!
It lends untold strength
And mighty in length.
Its got its own story Alas!
Indeed it is-The friendship that never was.
